Labour Hour Policy

At Clean Is Good Service, a labour hour is defined as one hour of work completed by a single professional. For example, a team of two professionals performing one hour of work constitutes two labour hours. Should you have any questions regarding the calculation of labour hours or our billing procedures, please contact our office prior to your scheduled cleaning appointment.

We enforce a minimum of two labour hours for any hourly job. Labour hours may include the time required to load and unload supplies and equipment from our vehicles.

Minimum Service Hours

Clean Is Good Service has a two-hour minimum service requirement for all household cleaning services. Lawn and carpet cleaning services are provided based on agreed-upon quotes.

Initial Inspection Upon Arrival

Upon arrival, our cleaning team will perform a walkthrough of your property. If you are present, you are welcome to join this inspection. This process ensures the service aligns with the agreed scope of work. Should any adjustments be necessary, such as additional time, we will communicate these changes to you before commencing any work.

Workplace Health and Safety

The safety and well-being of both our clients and team members are paramount. If any member of our team feels unsafe, or if the environment (including the home and its surroundings) becomes hazardous, they will leave the premises immediately. In such cases, the full charges for the booked service will still apply.

Pets Friendly

While we understand and appreciate the presence of pets, we kindly request that non-service dogs are restrained, kept outside, or confined to a room that our team members will not need to access. This measure ensures the safety of both your pets and our team.

Please note that our team members do not clean animal waste, litter trays, or other pet-related areas.

Smoking Policy

For the safety of our team, we request that all household members refrain from smoking indoors while our team is onsite. Additionally, we kindly ask that you ventilate your home by opening windows and doors at least one hour before your scheduled cleaning. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a safe environment for our team.

Public Holidays

Our services will not be conducted on public holidays. If you would like to reschedule a service originally planned for a public holiday, please contact us as soon as possible with your preferred date and time. While we will make every effort to accommodate your request, availability cannot be guaranteed.

Right to Refuse Service

Clean Is Good Service reserves the right to refuse or cancel service for any of the following reasons:

  • Our professionals feel unsafe, threatened, or uncomfortable for any reason.

  • The job cannot be completed within the maximum allotted time.

  • The condition of the property differs significantly from the client’s description.

  • The requested service scope is not as described by the client.
